The cure for startups or existing businesses with 0 reviews
If you currently have a business and have 0 reviews, you need to get some. Not just because I said so, or Google says so, but because you're leaving out a lot of revenue by not doing this. When people want to solve their pain points, they will always look for someone who has proof that they did what they say they did.
Tactic one to review the collection
Find your target audience and give away the service for free. I say this having done this myself with my clothing brand. One way you can grantee to streamline your overall marketing efforts is by giving away the product or service for free.
When you do this, you...
Figure out if people like your product/service | Smiley face, because bad word of mouth plays a factor too.

Get incredible testimonials or reviews.
Overall, this takes away the risk for potential customers, especially first-time buyers. To drive the point home, when I first started my clothing brand called Dauntless Legacy, I spent over $1000 on famous influencers to sell my first drop. The influence generated over 1.7M views. But no one bought, Sad face. No money was made after spending $5,000 to make this collection perfect. Then I added a couple of testimonials.
Tactic two: to review the collection
If your business already has a customer list or a crm software, then you're sitting on gold mine. Sometimes all people need is a little push with a little urgency. Contact them personally on their phone and ask them politely if they know someone who could benefit from your services. For a service based business. This simple tactic kills and the reason why it does is because your basically getting payed to get new customers.
Now, in terms of how to exactly it is complex based on different industries because different offers have worked for different industries. Fundamentally, you want the person who is referring you to benefit as well as the person who is recommending you.
Tactic three to review the collection
This last one is simple and shocking, but it works. If you want to get reviews and not invest any time at all to get them simply, just ask the person who provided a fantastic service to give you a review and tell them how important they are.
PSPS: Make sure you get them to do the review in person because if not, 9 times out of 9.5, they are not going to leave a review once they leave the door.
Final Remarks
Make a Google sheet or Excel sheet to track your review collection and also to see what has worked for you in terms of collecting reviews.
